Grimes Military Aircraft Emergency Exit Light Assembly p/n: 44910. This Vintage Original Light has a “Functional Test Date"but I can not make out the date but on the other side it has a date of "Nov, 1966”stamped on the side of the unit. I believe it is in new surplus condition as there is no indication of batteries being installed. It is dirty from being on the shelf for 50+ years.

Handle is functional and mounting pins are in good shape. It has a 3 position switch that is functional and is marked “ON<>OFF<>ARM”. The lens on the light looks good and clear but it does have a crack in it. Battery caps have no corrosion internally and the battery housing tubes show no corrosion. It has not been tested for lack of batteries. Grimes Mfg. Co. p/n: 44910 Serial Number: 5819. Item is being sold as is and there are no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.

These types of lights are still being used in some military aircraft. I think the C-130 uses them but I am not certain.
