4 each Type A-3 Flap & Wheel Position Transmitters in new surplus condition.

These Transmitters originate the impulses which actuate the Flap & Wheel Indicator Instrument in the cockpit. “Four are required for each installation; one at each of the main wheels, one at the tail or nose wheel and one at the flaps”. These “new in the box” General Electric Type A-3 Flap & Wheel Position Transmitter Sending Units are complete with instructions. Part number on data plate is 8TJ19AAF and the instruments manual cross references it to AN5785-1. These 24 volt Transmitters were used in numerous aircraft such as B-26, P-38, P-39, C-46, UC-78, AT-17, P-61, A-20 and other WWII era aircraft. To be used with AN5780-2 Type A-3 Flap & Wheel Indicators.
