Crossing the threshold I ease off the power and the PC-12 settles onto the runway. I use a little reverse on the propeller to bring us to a stop without even touching the brakes. Welcome to Misty Fjords and the city of Ketchikan!
Taxiing over to the fuel pumps I set the parking brake and go through the engine shut down checklist. When the prop stops and the brakes are set I open the doors to let line service unload the cargo. As I watch the cruise ship continues through the narrow channel beside the airport.
The EIS panel shows we burned 1281 lbs. of fuel with 1393 lbs. left in the tanks. Flight time was a bit over 2 hours and 15 minutes, a good 10 minutes or so better than the flight plan estimated time enroute!

With my instrument flight complete I decide to hop in another PC-12 for a bit of sight seeing around the Misty Fjords area. There are many user created repaints for the Flight1 PC-12 that should fit any type of flying you wish to do. For this flight we’ll do a short VFR hop from Ketchikan over to a small hunting and fishing camp called Antelope Ranch (ATR1). With partial fuel for the 10 minute flight the PC-12 literally leaps off the runway.
