Conclusion

I know I listed a lot of negative things in this review. But I don’t want you to get the wrong impression. I love this game. This is probably the best WW2 tank game we’ve had in a long time, and hopefully with proper support from both the community and the developer it can be expanded into it’s full potential.

The sights and sounds are incredible. You really feel like a WW2 tanker when you play this game. The single player missions are well done and fun, yet scripted. The multiplayer is fun, especially the team vs. team mission style, albeit difficult to find a game and connect to one. The mission editor looks to be detailed enough that I suspect many great missions coming to our community soon.

The game is fun to learn, easy to play, but hard to master. You have the ability to do everything yourself in your own tank, or turn on the AI crew to assist (unless you’re playing in hardcore mode).

The shortcomings aren’t really the programs fault — just a result of questionable design decisions. This game provides you with exactly what it advertises — the ability to be a tanker in either the Russian T-34 or the German Tiger, and at that, if your reading this review, you probably won’t be disappointed. But friendly AI problems and a lack of battlefield environment along with a few technical issues, especially in the multiplayer department, keep the game out of the greatness range.
