Introduction
I’m having a hard time figuring out if I like Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 2 or not (from now on referred to as “GRAW2”). I had a hard time with the first GRAW also. On the one hand it is NOT the classic Ghost Recon we all love and cherish, but on the other hand, if you look at both GRAW and GRAW2 as their own games, then yes, they are good games. 
Not classics, but still good games.
I’m also having difficulty deciding if I like GRAW2 for the PC because I have played the heck out of GRAW and GRAW2 on the Xbox 360. In my opinion,the 360 version beats the hell out of the PC version in every category except for modding. Well anyway, here is my review of GRAW2 for the PC. I will try and present my review with an open mind.
Packaging and Installation
You can purchase GRAW2 as a download, or you can buy a hard copy at a computer software store. GRAW2 is made for either Windows XP or Vista. A 2 GHz Pentium 4 or an AMD Athlon is required along with a gig of RAM. Most new video cards that are Direct X 9.0c compliant and use Shader Models 2.0 will work, but at least 128 MB’s of video ram is required. And of course, any Direct X 9.0c compliant sound card will work. GRAW2 continues the series support for the AGEIA PhysX card.
The game installed without a problem and identifies your system when you first start it. It also identified my PhysX card, which is a good thing because you get a custom single player mission if you own the card. The installation footprint is just over 4 gigs of hard drive space.
