Every good study sim ever created has a showcase for the 3D models in the sim, and DCS: Black Shark is no exception. Typically it is portrayed as a reference area so the player can learn more about what just shot his butt off, or what he is about to shoot. In DCS: Black Shark, a somewhat unique ability to view each different structure in the sim is included, and not just an up-close view of the military hardware. That’s a nice addition that can be used to assist in mission and campaign building. Below are a few screens from the Encyclopedia section. Once again as in other sections of DCS: Black Shark, the logical, well-designed menus enhance the presentation of the focused items.
