I can’t recall -21s being as aggressive as these were as they pulled a quick reverse onto our 6 and rapidly fired off their missiles. This one had 3 in the air at once! I’m wondering if Lead Pursuit tweaked the AI and made them better. I wish they could tweak my skill and make ME better too!

I manage to get around them, airframe groaning through the over-G and put two Sidewinders into the guy that busted up my formation. (Yes, I know, my lights are on…)

Meanwhile the SEAD flight is also getting beat up pretty hard as they start taking missiles from air and ground sources.

We manage to dispatch the pair of MiG-21s while only losing one of our own, but they have driven us survivors down into short range AAA and SAM range. The element lead (#3) takes a missile from the valley and goes down in flames.
